Modernization of sports lighting
As part of the modernization of the lighting in the MOSiR sports hall at ul. Bandurskiego 1A in Mikołów, the existing 54 metal halide luminaires with a power of 450W each were dismantled and replaced with modern LED sports projectors in the configuration of 23 x 150W+ 22 x 200W MaxPro LED Sports floodlight
The implementation of the task allowed to reduce the maximum power of lighting in the hall by about 63%, i.e. from 21.6 kW to 7.88 kW - which directly affects the reduction of operating costs of the facility, while increasing the comfort of use and the quality of lighting.
As-built measurements confirmed the achievement of the uniform average illuminance of 900lux assumed in the project.
The return on investment will be 2 years, with a 5-year warranty on the installed lighting system.
