It doesn't matter whether it's twilight in the evening or especially in the cold and dark months of the year - in recent years, training on the soccer field in St. Stefan im Rosental has been increasingly difficult to carry out under the given lighting conditions. The course's old floodlights were built in 1973 and were never originally designed for competitions. Therefore, the board of the TUS St. Stefan im Rosental decided to tackle the project of a new LED Soccer Field Floodlights for the sports field. This project was launched in January 2020.
The complete conversion to the new lighting was promoted and supported by the state of Styria, the TUS St. Stefan im Rosental and the market town of St. Stefan im Rosental itself. The project was commissioned at the end of August after consultation with the market community. In cooperation with the company e-Lugitsch | S.IN.N-FULL energy, especially with Mr. Erich Hötzl, we faced this new task together.
The conversion of the sports field in St. Stefan im Rosental
The officials of the TUS St. Stefan Football Field Lighting im Rosental provided us with enormous support. They invested around 143 hours of voluntary work in this project. Without their contribution, the new lighting for the football field would not have been financially feasible for the market community. Erich Hötzl also put a total of 45 volunteer hours into this project. Thanks to all volunteers and their active support, this project could be implemented smoothly.
Then, after many hours of hard work Football Field Lighting Solution, the day had come – on October 29th, the new Football Light Sports Lighting illuminated the soccer field in the market town of St. Stefan im Rosental for the first time. Everyone involved was overjoyed because, after countless years, the sports field finally shone in a new light.
Thanks to the innovative lighting technology, there are first-class lighting conditions on the football field again, which means that nothing stands in the way of evening games and training sessions. The official opening will take place at a championship game next year, to which the market town cordially invites every resident of the community.
